Description:
NiteRail thrives on helping keep alive the foundation from which modern music was once built: the Blues. Formed in November 2004 in Minneapolis, Korey Hicks, Mike Fugazzi, James Schneeberg and Konr Ness joined forces in cutting loose on the blues. And in that spirit, you'll never hear the same song played the exact same way twice. The vibe is intense, the set list is always evolving, and the result is unpredictable. You'll never see them get bored because they are always seeking to push the limits.
Band Members:
Together, they bring a well-rounded history of music. Hicks is a Berklee-trained guitarist that has played with some of the top bluesmen in Minnesota and now teaches full-time lessons outside the band. Fugazzi and Ness, with their most recent blues outfit, 2nd Exit, have opened for Corey Stevens (2003), Indigenous (2004), and contributed to the Tree Frog Music Festival playing before Big Brother and the Holding Company (2004). Also, Fugazzi has been studying under renown harp player, Clint Hoover, one of a handful of musicians to have mastered the overblow technique. Schneeberg brings diverse inspiration to the pulse of the music, studying for years under local jazz great Phil Hey, and previously contributing to a variety of several small local groups.
