Description:
Traverse City local folk rock group Hursh has been touring michigan and beyond for about a year now. We just complete a cd at one of michigan's best recording studio Solid Sound www.solidsound.net. We just got done working with some of the best engineers in Michigan on the album and the album release will be in December 2005
Band Members:
HURSH is the result of singer-songwriter Ben Hursh on lead vocal and guitar teaming up with Guy Hursh on lead guitar and Rebecca Hursh on backing vocals. Add to the mix long-time bassist Rob Ackley, groovemasters Keith Ballmer and Devon Neibert on percussion and you've got a sound that is starting to turn heads on the Traverse City music scene.
Ben has a knack for writing from the heart and pours himself into the music. Guy and Rebecca bring a continuity that can only come from family history. Rob, Keith and Devon complete the sound that brings a much needed alternative to the blues, jazz and heavy metal that dominates much of the northern Michigan scene.
