The Mickey Finn Band

Band Members:
Paul Greenlease - Paul grew up in Kansas City and started playing professionally at age 19. He went to school in LA at BIT (Bass Institute Technology). He played sessions and gigs in LA from 1992 to 1993 while he attended school. Paul continues to play sessions and up to 7 gigs a week in Kansas City and is one of the most highly thought of musicians in town. He is proficient in almost any style imaginable, knows a seemingly unlimited amount of tunes, and can easily play faster than 99% of guitar players. Paul is known for his hilarious sense of humor, perfect groove, and his exceptionally phrased bass solos. He has played for Bob Harvey, Neon Blue, Max Groove, Percy Sledge, Zig Modeliste, and many others.

Nate Dean - Nate grew up in Kansas City and started playing professionally at 16. He got his start playing with his family in the Kansas City country group Broken Cowboys. He has written several songs that received substantial air time on regional country music stations including Q104, and propelled the Cowboys to a Missouri State Championship in the Colgate Country Music Showdown. Nate was one of the most sought after country music guitarists in the city before he graduated high school. At age 19, he moved to Nashville and played sessions and road gigs for almost every musical style including Orchestra, Christian Rock, Smooth Jazz, Pop, and of course, Country. Now, Nate attends college in Kansas City and is hired by many of the cities best producers. He also teaches advanced guitar to some of the best professional players in town. Nate has played for Larry Gatlin (of the Gatlin brothers), Texas Top Ten Country Artist Keith Norris, Reese Wynans (of Stevie Ray Vaughn's "Double Trouble" and Buddy Guy fame), Brentwood Baptist Orchestra (one of the premier Christian orchestras in the country), and many others. Nate has performed for Brad Paisley, Michael W. Smith, Little Jimmy Dickens, Sara Evans, The Warren Brothers, Phil Vassar, and a lot more.

Mike Patrum - Mike is from Kansas City and credits his entire family for the lifelong love of music he brings to the Mickey Finn Band. The sound of drumming was always resonating from the Patrum home while Mike was growing up. His father Mike Sr., himself an accomplished drummer, became young Mike’s first teacher and greatest inspiration. Mike majored in music at Garden City Community College and The University of Kansas. Jazz legend Todd Strait privately taught Mike many of the phenomenal chops that he now mixes into his eclectic repertoire. Mike is known for his rock steady beat and incredible groove. He has played professionally with several midwest bands, including The KC All Stars. Mike also plays around the United States and Europe, with Kerry Livgren of the band Kansas, in a band called Protokaw. Kerry Livgren wrote classic songs such as "Dust in the Wind", "Carry on my Wayward Son", and many others. Mike's musical influences include the likes of Steve Gadd, Dennis Chambers, Neil Peart of Rush, and of course Todd Strait.
