Description:
The Waking is a diverse blend of musicians whose influences range from punk to metal. Song topics ranging from the aids epidemic in Africa to losing your job after years, the numbing of society and more, are sure to get your attention. The vocals give the music a depth and dynamic not found among many bands. The lyrics and the way they are delivered against a tight rhythm section and driving guitars is what separates The Waking from many other song writers and musicians. The Waking are featured on an internationally distributed paintball dvd. The first demo was recorded and engineered by Louis Svitek ( Ministry, M.O.D.) and over 1000 copies have been distributed throughout the chicagoland area.
