If the cliche', 'A One Man Army" ever applied to any individual, Deonard Crawford would be a prime candidate. This multi-talented entrepreneur began his career in Frankfurt Germany as a rapper in 88'. In High-School he participated in the band and learned how to read and compose music. While working at the local Sight & Sound Center, the Georgia native bought two turntables and a mixer, became a disc jockey and got jobs at clubs around town using the nickname Lil' Dee. Struggling for years on the local scene, he decided to form his own label and managed to attract the interest of a 'major-leagued' record company, which agreed to finance his label and distribute its' recordings. Responsible for more than 30 releases ( several on major labels ) Lil' Dee has accomplished a feat many would consider a dream..."Everything I've learned about the music business, I learned the hard way, I touched the flame and got burned." As a result, he has honed his skills in different areas of music allowing him to produce, compose, write, engineer ( record & mix ), arrange, perform & operate a small business corporation. Opening up for major acts such as Wu-Tang, Pastor Troy, Trina, MJG, House of Pain & Do Or Die: just to list a few, this artist has also produced music featuring platinum artist LaTochca Scott of Xscape (So So Def), remixed numerous classic songs which include 'Na Na Hey Hey' by Jeronimo and 'Street Life' by Randy Crawford and the Crusaders. Featured on compilations with artist like LL Cool J, SWV, Shabba Ranks, Run DMC, Bobby Brown, Shai, Prince Markie Dee ( Fat Boys ), H-Town, Heavy D & The Boyz, PM Dawn, Father MC, Jade, Wreckx-N-Effect and UK singer Neneh Cherry, Lil' Dee has paid his dues and continues to push towards his inevitable success. The album 'Jack Of All Trades' consist of 19 programmed drum & synth instrumentals dominated by vocals full of melody and contagious sing-a-long choruses written, produced & creatively arranged in representation of the southern hip-hop community.
