Who is 'Purple Tree'?

It’s easy! Start with David Perry, a slender 5’ 11”, blue eyed, blonde haired young man with a fantastically vivid imagination, and colorful artistic expressiveness. David is the lead singer and songwriter for the band. He also pounds life into the keyboards, commands his accordion to conjure psychedelic ghosts, and beats steady rhythm through his guitar. Now begins their exclusive space rock sound that is unique in its own realm.

Now add Rodney Rollo, lead guitar player and sound effects manager for the Purple Tree. Rodney’s 5’11" tall with brown eyes & hair, and bright blue dreams. Rodney compliments lyrical proficiency as ‘psychedelic’ compliments rock music. He introduces style and life to David’s songs, and screams his voice through hard hitting guitar hooks that aide in the music’s unstoppable forwarding motion. He controls the effects that control ones imagination from start to end.

We then anchor this melodic magic with the deep pumping bass lines of Pat Conway, pressing and pushing like a trip that never fades. Pat is 5’10”, dark haired, brown eyed, low end communicator that won’t take ‘no’ for an answer. Equipped with a monstrous stack, and 2 equally tuned bass guitars, he’s sure to vibrate the very soul you possess, tripping the night into a self controlled frenzy, with macro medic mastering. Pat’s bass lines are strong, and forceful, and always pump the color of reddish lust in our minds. His combinations of skill and attitude guarantee the listener will always cop a buzz in electrical purple wonderland.

Last, but certainly not least, we add the well rehearsed and experienced Dave Wright on beat patrol. Dave’s a 5’7” black haired, brown eyed, psychedelic drumming master mind. He beats life through his drums, changes tight rhythms at the drop of a dime bag, and expresses a rhythmic timing that’s so precise you can time an egg by it. Linked with strength and precision he has surely proved to provide the white line in the road for the Purple Tree to groove down, leading us all to achieve sheer psychedelic nirvana.
