Description:
I could smell the whiskey that was spilt on the floor underneath me, and it took all I had to keep from slipping while I jumped up and down. The smoke was so thick you could've cut it with a knife, and even it was having a hard time making its way through the sound. The drums echoed through the hills around my lonely home at the highest point, and the guitar was the wind that blew the wheat swaying near the open window. I screamed the words, and although my throat was cracking from dehydration, I wouldnt've skipped a line for nothin'. With every note I fell around the world and back again. Against that chasmal backdrop where stars are born and stars are dead... I held onto the moment... fearing it might pass like those that burnt out long ago.
