Description:
In 1978 Sado-Nation was formed by David Corboy in Portland, Oregon. The sadistic nature of the nation's leaders, and the people who let themselves be guided into a soul-less commercial society, was the inspiration for this new band's name.
The music would reflect the disgust Corboy felt for these people and their greed driven culture.
Band Members:
David Corboy - Music had turned into a corporate nightmare during the 70's. Disco had turned the masses into weak sheep. Rock had retreated to the underground and was barely visible. The loss of rock to a commercial machine was bothersome, but not debilatating to Corboy.
While the years in art school passed, Corboy had been writing songs. These songs would become the basic ground work for a new band which was to emerge out of the Portland underground scene Mish Bondage - In 1982 Mish Bondage joined the band. She was recruited from the all female band, The Braphsmears. Punk Diva and force of nature
Eric Couch - Quickly learning his craft, Eric developed an unorthodox trademark style: fast, noisy, and ugly. Quote Eric: “Quantity is Quality!” Mike Teal - The new drummer for Sado-Nation, Mike also plays for the Dirty Lowdowns.
