Description:
Terrible Friends write personal yet cinematic songs about failure and disappointment and suckiness with immensely memorable riffs, sneakily catchy melodies and the best rhythm section in unsigned band history. Terrible Friends will never write the same song twice. Terrible Friends do not sound like, but will appeal to fans of bands who have made their own indie rock rules, bands like Paveent, Sonic Youth, Guided by Voices, Archers of Loaf, Modest Mouse, The Hold Steady, Les Savy Fav.
Band Members:
Andrew Zitelli - vocals Chris Thompson - guitar Craig Royston - bass Paul Papapetrou - drums
Terrible Friends were born in Bergenfield in 1996. Terrible Friends are the only band from Bergen County to have formed in the 90's that did not get all emo. Terrible Friends will continue to write the kind of songs that no one else is writing. Every new Terrible Friends song is different from the last is different from the last is different from the last. Terrible Friends draw their influences from a broad and strange variety of artists, from Primus to Prince to Pavement to Parliament to Graham Parker to Graham Parsons. Other letters are equally varied. Terrible Friends live is loud and loose and possibly legendary. Terrible Friends will tear your club apart.
