Description:
Animatronics is an improvised progressive soundscape project consisting of three close friends who share a common interest in creating, playing, and listening to music of all kinds. All of our music is completely improvised. That is the goal for this project. No thoughts, just instinctive, uncontrived sounds. All the pieces heard here were recorded live with no overdubs - created using only guitars (Acoustic/Electric/Bass) with a vast array of effects pedals used for processing sounds and looping, as well as for manually manipulating electronic drum sounds. Along with percussion by Adam Yasmin, we create ambient, psychedelic soundscapes of melodies and strange noises as well as flowing rhythmic jams. Always induced by the moment and the energy surrounding us. - Expect the unexpected
