Description:
Straight from Port Neches- Groves, TX comes the Hard Alternative band, ShutEye, who formed in August of 2004 and are making their presence known quickly in Southeast, TX. With former members from the local act, No Meaning, Jakob Robles, Brandon Parker, and Aaron Farar collaborate with Blake Balsano, Silent October's previous lead guitarist, and Jason Crochet, No Meaning's ex-roadie, this band brings you a strong stage performance and a sense of originality. The guidance and support of bassist Jason Crochet, guitarist's Aaron Farar and Blake Balsano, and drummer Jakob Robles help lead vocalist, Brandon Parker, set himself aside from the rest with his powerful vocals and catchy lyrics. With musical influences such as Korn, Deftones, Seether, Slipknot, and Incubus, you can expect to hear something unique from ShutEye. Ages of the members vary from 16-20, yet ShutEye has already managed to open up for a national act, Element Eighty, and released a three song demo which has made outstanding sales. With plans to head back into the studio to record their first full length album, you can expect great accomplishments from this band.
