Description:
IZOPN (pronounced "eyes open") is an expeiriment in sonic brutality and southern horror. A group of like-minded individuals inspired to free modern metal from it's pop shackles, IZOPN has one goal in mind. To stomp yer guts out. In the tradition of bands like Crowbar, Grave, Faith no More, Cradle of Filth, Testament, Slayer, Pantera, Sepultura, Judas Priest, Superjoint Ritual, and even the godfathers of metal, Black Sabbath, the members of IZOPN work to expand upon the limits of horror and violence... through sonic brutality.

Latest News:
We are currently working with a new gitaurist and things are going well. Before too long we could have a new member added to the line up. Also we have a show coming up at the Local in downtown Chattanooga on April 30th. For more info check our website.
April 20th 2005 - I have redone the logo and taken the pictures off for things are not looking so well for our current guitarist Ronnie. He has a problem coming to practice for some reason and we don't know why for he hasn't bothered to call any of us in more than a month. But on a good note, our new guitarist Shawn (I think that's how he spells it) is working very hard to learn our songs and is really very impressive with his ability to do so. He should be ready in time for our upcoming show at the local. I have also added a picture done by a close friend of the band named Nick Evans of some artwork he has done for us. May 17th 2005 - The show on the 30th was a huge success! IZOPN would like everyone to know that Shaun is our offical gitaurist and has surpassed our expectations. His strong drive and impressive ability is exactly the type of metal mayhem that we needed to keep the brutality alive and kicking!!! We are also happy to announce that we will be taking the stage with Shades of Disorder and Page Down at the newly opened all ages club "The Green Martian" in East Ridge, TN. It will be our second outing with our new axeman so this show should wake the dead. Anyone interested in going can get more info on the show through our main website, which you should check out anyway because it has been updated since my last news update on here.
