Description:
All Else Fails is a dark metal/goth/industrial band, unusual in that it is fronted by two very odd women, who switch off with each other on bass and guitar equally. The musical style defies any genre. It is alternately lyrical and vicious, staccato end-of-the-world distortion layered with intricate melodic segments. Lyrics are dark, satryic, bitter, and intellectual but at the same time manage to express a red-eyed primal rage and a beast-in-heat sexuality. Vocal style could be compared to Janis Joplin meets Concrete Blond meets Kronus (of Venom) with a touch of Green Day sass and snarl. The songs are all original except for rare occasions when the band sets itself the challenge of covering a song that no one would expect them to cover.
