Description:
Whiskey's Wake takes inspiration from bands such as Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Real Mckenzies, The Tossers, and the Chieftains to create a unique celtic rock sound. The rock infused with accordian, mandolin, tin whistle, and Highland bagpipes is backed with sing-a-long lyrics such as, "Meet me at the pub tonight, Have a pint and feel alright!" and "Whiskey's Wake aint' nothin' to fuck wit."With the stage presence and energy that is only surpased by professionals, Whiskey's Wake provides more of a celtic experience, than a celtic show.
Band Members:
Adam- Lead singer and main lyric writer. This ball of sexyness also contributes on the electric guitar. Pat- The red-headed acoustic guitar player taking personal influence from Elliot Smith. Danny Monahan- Takes his hand in playing the Mandolin, Tin Whistle, and Highland Bagpipes, all doing so while in a kilt. Andreas- Accordian player deserving the credit for writing perhaps the best pirate song known to mankind. Ronan- The American based Frenchman with the balls of a drunken Irishman.
