Description:
A Week Away consists of four members, and we are based out of Rocklin, CA. Since we have known each other for such a long time we can read off each each other when it comes to playing or practicing. It also allows us to be able to tollerate each other alot more. We got together in 2002 and have been playing as many local shows in the Sacramento area as we can. Being that we are all good friends allows us to come up with music that is catchy and unique. We recorded our latest albulm in the summer of 2004 at Fat Cat Recording Studios titled "My Last Goodbye". We have been, and always will be a band that will play anywhere, anytime. Pretty much anywhere we are able to make noise.

Joe Gillette (Age 18) (Vocals/Guitar): My influences are Elton John, Brand New, Frank Sinatra, and everything else that I listen to.
Kale Elledge (Age 19) (Guitar): My influences are Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Tom Morello, Neal Schon
Nick Gillette (Age 21) (Drums): My influences are Dave Weckle, Mike Marsh, Steve Smith, and Yellowcard.
Eric Cavana (Age 20) (Bass): I would say my influences are Joe Satriani and video games.
