Description:
Formed in July 2002, KINDRED has continually gigged around Mid-Michigan and is always on the lookout for new venues. Although 2004 has brought about numerous lineup changes, the current incarnation has begun to break free of the 'cover-band' stigma and is focusing on original material for 2005. Five songs are near completion, and will soon be tracked at HIGH concept Studios in Saginaw MI. At cover gigs, this band has an absurd variety of material, with which they take great liberties(check out the 'OH-MY-GOD-I'm-PEAKING' version of "White Rabbit"-sure to bring on flashbacks of drug experiences you didn't know you had!)as well as bringing back forgotten jems and enlightening the audience with music they SHOULD be familiar with......
Band Members:
TRISH-lead vocals: this pint-size powerhouse handles everything from Tracey Chapman to Kittie-but you should see her when she's PISSED! BILL HALL-bass:amazingly fluid and consistently inventive, with the personality disorders that ALL great bass-players are known for. BILLY JOE WALKER-lead guitar:of Transylvanian descent(swear to God!), Billy Joe treads the guitar paths of Mick Ronson, Jimmy Page, and STP's Dean DeLeo... RANDY CHANDLER-lead guitar/keyboards/vocals/live sound:Almost more of a mad scientist than a musician, he has to sing Stevie Wonder AND Tom Petty covers! KELVYREN McCASKEY-drums: kidnapped from his church to be sacrificed upon the altar of paying gigs, Kel would be the ultimate drummer-if he showed up to practice and actually LEARNED the material!Watch for updates on KINDRED's ever-evolving drum stool activities.......
