Band Members:
Olympic Sound Collective was formed in the summer of 2004 in Seattle, Washington.While the band has been around only for a short while, the members have roots in the Seattle music community for over 10 years.
Members:
Damien Aitken Sax: Growing up in Melbourne , Australia , Damien has long had a passion for all kinds of music and people;and found himself involved in numeruos acts from punk to funk to blues and jazz. After sharing stages in Oz with the likes of ; The Beastie Boys, Rollins Band and The Ramones he had a yearning to stretch his legs and see what else was out there. Picking up gig in an orchestra he found himself in the U.S and liked what he heard.
Delvon Dumas Keys & Bass: This wizard of the B3 has spent the last 10 years deeply involved in the Seattle music scene. He studied under the legendary Joe Doria and Ron Weinstein, and has played with many of the city’s top jazz and funk artists.
Mike Saskor Guitar: Mike has been a staple in the Seattle music community for more than 10 years. His past and current projects include Toadstool, Rai, Altered States of Funk, and Olympic Sound Collective.He has also done stints with the Danny Godinez Band and Marmalade.
CharlieWorkman Drums: Charlie has been playing music for about 18 years now. He is a master percusionist and is at home on any type of drum. His beats are tight and will make you wont to get up and dance. He plays vintage kits and has a passion fot that "vintage drum sound"
