"The Modern Rock Band Expiate are a high energy band with a dark melodic sound which keeps you interested and waiting for more." Gregory Johnson SevenAngels Entertainment. Their major influences are Tool, Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, Pink Floyd and Led Zeplin. Formed out of Bowling Green Ohio, the three came together to form a sound that was like no other. The music is dark and heavy at times, but will take drastic turns to express many musical forms. Each band member comes from a long history and background in music, which has in time only tightend the bands sound. Their philosophy on life is to enjoy every fuckin second.
Expiate has been around the Norhtwest Ohio scene for several years, although, with members choosing to finish college first, touring has not been a top priority. Expiate spent the summer tracking songs for what will be a new album released sometime in January 05. Till then they will continue to play as many venues as possible.
