Description:
With such diverse musical influences such as Bob Marley, Lucky Dube, Alicia Keys, Chuck Mangione, and Sade, it's no wonder Smiling Souls creates the ultimate mix in music. Live brass, experienced musicians, and smooth vocals create the sound that is Smiling Souls and gives you music from around the world. Vocal talents range from Chaka Khan's "Ain't Nobody" to Mary J. Blige's "Real Love" to Musical Youth's "Pass the Dutchie" to Sean Paul's "I'm Still in Love."
Smiling Souls have played in a variety of settings including weddings, graduations, and block parties. The most memorable moments were playing at the BYU-Hawaii Alumni Utah Chapter 2003 Holoku Ball at BYU Provo and also for the 2004 Salt Lake City's Native American Celebration in the Park.
With their first album soon to be released, music lovers will be treated to a true mix of musical culture that includes original songs with roots style reggae, dancehall, and R&B flavors
