Combining catchy choruses and sing-along melodies with amazing technique and rhythm, Better off Dreaming has been bringing fast-paced, pop punk-rooted emo to their fans since September 2004. Such songs as "Self Esteem and a Knack for Romance," "Only You," and "Requiem" are great examples of life and love -- poetry put to music. Incorporating piano, acoustic guitar, strings, and various other instrumentation, Better off Dreaming provides a vast array of creativity to attempt to stray from the normal guitar, bass, and drum rock stereotype. With nothing holding them down and nothing to prove, Better off Dreaming offers fun-loving music for music's sake. Driven by indescribable passion, this loyal group of musicians consists of Dustin Roberts (Gook) showing off vocals/bass guitar, Daniel Mitchem on guitar/backing vocals/keyboards, Barry Bowling on lead guitar/backing vocals, and Burke Bailey taking on percussion/backing vocals. With plans of performing with exceptional names in the near future, receiving more promotion, and a full tour schedule, Better off Dreaming will certainly be living the dream. Many songs are in the making and their debut full-length album is to be released Summer 2006. Better off Dreaming looks forward to making it somewhere with their music one day. The road to success is full of obstacles, however, this truehearted group feels that they have what it takes to succeed in taking the music industry by storm.
