THE CONFESSIONS OF CREEP
Creep formed in a dark damp basement in February of 2003.
Front-man Brett Moore and his brother, guitarist Jerry Robinette were busy working on a local independent horror film “The Spell of Thirteen” directed by Richard Yates and Rodney Pasco of Heat Lightning productions. When Rich asked us about the possibility of doing the title track for the movie we quickly began laying down the grooves for the film which is now available on DVD.
Growing up with metal influences such as Kiss, Prong, White Zombie, and Metallica, the two brothers wanted to combine jR's music with Brett’s experience in the special effects industry and take it to the next level.
After recruiting drummer Mike Relue, and bassist Don Shaw we began constructing the vision we saw for the band and stage. Mike has since been replaced with Todd Butler on the skins.
Creep emerges from their foggy onstage cemetery as four skeletal figures taking an aggressive, hard-lined metallic approach to today’s problems and frustrations.
Our goal is to continually expand our stage-show and to stay true to the bands that inspired us. Creep promises to put on a show you will not soon forget.
The band is currently in the studio recording the first 13 tracks from their debut CD, “Struggle Within”. To be released later this year.
