Description:
Central New York's finest Classic Rock band. The Swine of Syracuse, the Proud Pork of Central New York, the BATTERED PIGS is a four-piece, guitar-oriented, self-indulgent, good-time rock band covering tunes from the '60's to today. Fully equipped with sound, lights and little stuffed pigs. Fully prepared to make any event a party of porcine proportions. Call or email for full details.
Band Members:
Bob Volk - lead vocals, guitars, harmonicas, recorders, percussion. A fine swine of a lad. Presumably in charge. Mark Billinson - lead guitars, vocals. Fastest hands in the West, and all the women know it. Large but precise. Brian "Jelly Roll" Welch - drums, vocals. The cute guy in the back. Smarter than he looks while playing. "Stern" Tom Mattern - bass. Quiet, except when he isn't. Oblique, yet ultraviolet. The boys have been playing together since 2002 and having a great time - you should, too!
