Description:
Beautiful Ashes is a heavy metal band local to Sonoma county, formed in late 2003. The band’s sound is a diverse amalgam of melodic metal, death and thrash, with exotic melodies painted by middle eastern scales. Beautiful Ashes' sound is an intense and aggressive sound, but also has an ethereal mysteriousness to it. The band's lyrics paint images of ancient battles and apocalyptic visions, they recall gods from times long forgotten, and speak of spirits that thrive off the essence of the fallen.
