Onset

-Formed in the year 2000, East Central Indiana’s [o n s e t] have been redefining their sound and approach to music. Building a reputation as an out of town underdog, [o n s e t] played a considerable number of shows in support of their first full-length record “State of Mind”(2002). -In the ever-changing world of [o n s e t], the year of 2003 proved to be no exception. After taking a short leave of absense with long time guitarist Eric Hewitt, the band auditioned several guitarists to fill the vacancy before joining with current guitarist Jordan Enyart. After a five month hiatus from the band, Eric rejoined the group now making them a 5-piece. This new line-up revitalized the group as a whole and creation began.Creating a sound that is edgy and energetic, [o n s e t] also delivers a large dose of melodic ambiance with atmospheric undertones. Dynamic rhythmical sounds accompanied by harmonious yet powerful vocals are the blueprint for the inventive sound that defines the group. - Armed with a new self-titled EP , [o n s e t] is hoping to expand their ideas further. Sharing the stage with the likes of Nonpoint(MCA Records), Reach 454(Lava/Atlantic), Sunset Black(Bieler Bros/MCA) and the Vans Warped Tour.Progression is the only path for [o n s e t].
