Band Members:
Bassist Brent Coffman and guitarist Leo Leinen have a nearly 20 year partnership playing music in eastern Iowa, first in such bands as The Noyz Boyz and One Bullit Barney. Joined by an undeniable need to play their instruments, they have defined live music in many eastern Iowa towns for decades. Coffman's knee-shattering bass lines fuels Leinen's maniac power slashes and buzzsaw leads to form the nexus of the Hard Barney sound.

Drummer Jon Watson has been playing music at least that long in many different bands, doing many different styles. He has been Leo and Brent's stickman for close to 12 years now. John is power and finesse personified. Never satisfied with his current choice of drums, Jon is going through them all in the quest for the perfect sound. To say Jon is steady is like saying the sun is hot. We're not sure he even needs sticks sometimes.

Lead guitarist Matt Brower is the force behind the strat powered lead lines and many soulful vocals. Heavily influenced by the usual suspects (Hendrix, Stevie Ray, Delbert McClinton) his riffs are pure rock and blues. It's pure Fender heaven as the gold strat goes into the Silverface. With a straightforward approach to everything he does, Matt pulls no punches in quest of the perfect sound.

Keyboardist Bradley Coffman blends his keyboard talents with a wide vocal ability. Bradley plays with an eye toward going places he's never gone before. His rockin' and rollin' piano really drives home the bands classic sound, and he knows his way around a ballad.
