Description:
Counterfist is a five-piece band playing original alternative rock music. Their unique blend of varying tempo drums, ear-grabbing guitar hooks and soaring vocals has been captivating crowds in the Pacific Northwest since their first performance in September 1999.
Counterfist is difficult to place within any “standard” genre. The music has however been described as epic, inspiring, modern, dark, and melodic.
The music itself is the product of five minds. A haunting, powerful, drum-driven sound that has not changed, but evolved, since it’s conception in a Seattle basement over four years ago. The exponential progress of the group has since erased any evidence of such humble beginnings, and left in its place a reputation as one of the most flawless sounds in Seattle.
