Description:
Looking to form a jam/funk/rock/jazz kind of thing. A little more jazz than jam, and a little bit of funk and rock all over. I'm open to any ideas, Ideally I need a really solid rhythm section, and the rest will follow. A good band hangs its hat on the strength of its live show. Influences : MMW, Galactic, SCI, Thelonius Monk, Miles Davis, anything funky, Umphree's McGee, etc....
Band Members:
I'm primarily a guitar player looking for other musicians in the Louisville/Boulder, Colorado area. I've been in a couple bands, but lately I've become kinda frustrated with the situations. I'm looking to get together a group of mellow talented musicians who wanna write some original material and play a couple gigs a week (eventually). I haven't really put any material together as I'd rather have everyone involved in the creative process (I just quit a band where I was trying to work with a control freak). Really casual, send me an email if you wanna test the chemistry.
