Better Than Jesus is an original 5 piece Straight out of the ghetto, that is Chicago Heights. Our mission is to change the world trough music. We keep our music positive and we take our craft seriously, but were still into having fun with it. When we say that we are in this to change the world we are for real. We don’t have time to write about bullshit so we write about the state of things and what we can do change them, our topics range from religion, science, freedom, politics, war, plastic Americans, oppression, racism, truth, drugs, the system, hope, faith ((or lack there of)), and the price of tea in China. If we had to label our style we would call it a blues metal hybrid with tribal beats, spine grooving bass lines, neck breaking guitar licks, and mind swelling lyrics, its just all around good stuff. So we got that going for us.
