Description:
5 EMPTY CHAMBERS is made up of several veterans of the Erie County music scene, including Greg Ropp and Duane Krautter from The Void, considered one of the best Erie County bands of all time. The Void recorded and released three albums in the late 1980's and early 90's, all of which sold well and received big thumbs up from the critics. The band broke up in 1994 and Ropp became a solo performer.
Using studio musicians, (including current drummer Jack Dearborn),5 EMPTY CHAMBERS released a CD entitled "Wasted & Spent" in 1998 and it went on to earn even more praise than The Void. (Voted Best Original Band and listed on several Top Ten lists that year).
The group is a mix classic rock, funk, grunge, emo and folk, and performs mostly original material, although re-worked covers are a staple of live performances. A typical show can last up to 3 hours and includes both new material and lots of stuff from The Void.
5 EMPTY CHAMBERS is a seasoned, professional and most importantly, fun band with years of experience under their belt.
The audience definitely will get their money's worth with these guys!
The band is cool with live taping and photos, and in fact, encourages it. All that is asked is for the proper credit to be given and that no money is made off of the material.
5 EMPTY CHAMBERS proudly supports all the musicians in the local area!!!
Rock on with your bad self!
