Spanning everything from Motown to Classic Rock, Blues to Jazz, & Funk to Fusion, both the band’s original & cover material have elements of nearly all genres & styles of music! Their songwriting ranges from grooves that are soulful & straightforward to pieces that are a virtual exhibition in musicianship, thus creating a diverse, yet truly distinctive sound for the quintet. Combining the old with the new, complexity with simplicity, traditional with cutting-edge, the Dels can captivate just about any listener! The Sly Dels are an experienced group of players & writers who, in terms of music, have dedicated themselves to three basic principles: 1) Bringing creativity, craftsmanship, & blue-collar soul back to today’s music, 2) Having a good time, & 3) Giving a good time!
