Genesis House...A Taste of Paradise! Genesis House is a Coffee House/ Art Gallery/Community of Faith/Entertainment Venue/Community Center... theres just too much to fit on one page! There are a number of regular events, like the Open Mic on Friday's from 7pm-11pm and a brand new Gospel Open Mic on Sundays! It's a cozy, comfortable, homey atmosphere just right for special meetings and presentations, as well as being available to book for concerts and performances.

We also do catering!!!

You are welcome! Genesis House is an interesting coffee house (with great soup and sandwiches for lunch) and gallery on Delmar across from the Metrolink station (the other side of Skinker from the U. City Loop). Free events here include literary nights, guest speakers, open mike night (Fridays, 7:30-10:00pm), Genesis House Jam(Jazz)Session and spiritual discussions as well as gallery receptions and a host of other events.

June 5th, Acoustic Love, 7:30 to 11:00 p.m. Hear various artists on the acoustic guitar. $7.00 cover.

June 5th, Comedy Café, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Engineer’s Club, 4359 Lindell. Join us for a variety of comics. $7.00 cover.

June 12th, The Avatars in Concert!, 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Hear Dawn Stringfield’s band with contemporary folk and originals. $3.00 cover.

June 19th, Genesis House Groove, 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. Join us for a dance and appreciation night. $7.00 cover.

June 26th, Pride Concert!, 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. Join us for the annual Pride Concert with LGBT* musicians and singers. $5.00 cover. * Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender 7:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.June 3rd Spoken Word “Mother Rose,” with Payda Paid. June 10th Poetry Night with the St. Louis Poetry Center. Readersare Michael Allen, Colleen McKee, and Eve Jones.
