THE LIQUID DEN is an awsome beer and wine bar in Huntington Beach,CA. A long time ago it was a very well know sports bar called Lattka's Golden Glove.. (that was when there used to be an Airport next door!! But those times have gone..) In the late 1990's a couple of muscians, with a desire to open a cool venue, bought the bar and re-named it The LIQUID DEN. They tried very hard to make the Den work as business.. but werent able to make it go .... .... so they sold it to Big Jim! The LIQUID DEN is now owned and operated by BIG JIM (LOCO) CLINE and his family. Big Jim bought the Liquid Den in Janurary 2002 and started booking live bands to play there right away. Shortly after he realized what a tough job booking bands can be. So he enlisted the help of his friend LOB, the long time manager of Huntington Beach's most well known record store, Vinyl Solution Records, and director of the Orange County artists alliance called Thee Instagon Foundation. LOB started booking only a few nights a week in the spring of 2002, but by the summer had taken over booking as a full time position and has been pumping the Liquid Den with some of the best bands in So. Cal and alot of touring acts too..During the past year we have had lots and lots of bands play..and nearly every one of those bands have had a fabulous time playing for us.. and many have come back for more shows. The LIQUID DEN proudly is one of the only bars in Orange County to carry Stone Brewery's ARROGANT BASTARD ALE on TAP!! ... as well as Sam Adams Boston Lager, GUINESS ALE, PABST BLUE RIBBON, and others.. come in and check out our fine beer and ale selection! We hope you come by the LIQUID DEN sometime soon and see some excellent live music and consume some of the brew... remember our motto: DRINK BEER!
