The Pirate's Den is the "Original Rock Club" located in Gloucester City, NJ "Birthplace of Rock N Roll" Bill Haley & The Comets 1955 the 1st Rock Band credits The Twin Bars on Broadway in Gloucester City, NJ as the "Birthplace of Rock N Roll" The Pirate's Den on Broadway & Essex St. features 2 bars, 2 stages, complete with 2 PA and Light Systems, The Best Soundmen in the area and supporting Original Local and Touring/National Bands. This past year, we've had George Lynch of Dokken here twice, along with Vinnie Appice on Drums(Dio), Metal Church, Chris Caffery of Savatage and Trans Siberian Orchestra, Tim "RIPPER OWENS" of Judas Priest, Also Rob Zombie Guitarist "RIGGS" on his "Scum of the Earth Tour" The Pirate's Den is located just 2 miles outside Philadelphia, Pa 1 1/2 hours from NYC,NY and 45 mins. from MD, 20 mins from Delaware. 2 Blocks from The Walt Whitman Bridge..
