All our downloads are posted with the intention that fans will download them and burn them to CD. We have a four song minimum and really suggest five to eight songs. Our minimum is pretty much what we see as the least amount of songs that would be worth burning to CD. We honestly feel that the more songs you have, the more people are likely to burn and listen to your music, but that is entirely up to you.No money changes hands. No contracts, the deal is simple: We agree to promote the hell out of your band for free, in exchange you allow our users to download your songs at no charge. As far as I'm concerned, everyone wins. We also try as much as possible to drive traffic to your site and promote your merchandise.We promote this site and the bands on web-zines, message boards, with tape traders and on fliers. Currently we are getting between 100 and 200 hits a day and that number is steadily growing. All our bands are featured prominently on our homepage and that's (in my humble opinion) pretty good promotion.
