Description:
Our string band focuses on revitalizing the spirit of the Appalachian tradition up here in Michigan. We play mostly traditional bluegrass music along with a very small but expanding handful of originals. Bluegrass is what we love, and it is what we do. Based out of Southwest Michigan, our three piece band celebrates acoustic music and the Appalachian tradition. In our efforts to preserve the songs that once rang through the hills and valleys to the east, our love for the purity of this style has grown to become what is now The Mossy Mountain Band.
Band Members:
The band consists of Tim Sheldon on banjo and dobro, Jesse Myers on the flat top guitar and mandolin, Leslie Ziegler on the Doghouse Bass, and Colin Myers on the Accordion.
