Description:
Based near the St. Louis Mo. area, Soul service band was formed in 2001. With influences as diverse as 60’s rock, country, gospel, and pop music the band has developed a style appealing to a wide range of people and ages. The music style and lyrical content puts the band into a genre of its own. Lyrically, Soul Service Band would be considered Christian Rock. Many songs directly reference God, Jesus, or biblical content while many others have no reference at all. SSB often includes cover songs such as the hits Call Me The Breeze by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Riding The Storm Out by REO Speedwagon, Knocking On Heaven’s Door by Bob Dylan, and several others. The musical style, lyrical content, and diversity of cover hits make Soul Service Band’s appeal universal.
