Description:
Musically there is no easy way to pinpoint This Painted Reds musical style. With musical influences that range from Goth, Emo, Hardcore, to Screamo and Punk, its hard to really say what they are. But come to a live show and you will see one of the most active live performances around, then judge for your self.
The members of This Painted Red have been in bands together for a year and a half, playing constant shows and writing together 2 full length cds. Now formed completely as the band This Painted Red they are truly paving a road of their own. With expressive and original guitar lines, technical drums, spontaneous bass lines, unique keys, and intense vocals each song is truly diverse. Spending all their time writing and performing to every one they can, they are a labels dream. Writing over 2 full length cds in a under a year, and This Painted Reds Ep, being a full length release.
Musically This Painted Red is beyond their years, with 5 members still in high school and one just graduated., their music expresses more then broken hearts and teenage fun. Expressing the harsh realities of life such as drugs, suicide, death, loss, and god, This Painted Red is not looking to be written off as just another high school band.
Their constant song writing, practicing, and playing shows their dedicating and that this is in no way a hobby. This Painted Red hopes to make this their lives and careers. Searching for a label to get them on tour and play for everyone they can. Music is their life’s and playing for the world their dreams.
Influences range from Saosin, Finch, A Static Lullaby, My Chemical Romance, The Cure, Greeley Estates, Thrice, Thursday, The Used, Brand New, Underoath, Emery, Kamilla, Dead Poetic, Blink 182, SpitalField, Senses Fail, Radio Head, Glassjaw, Taking Back Sunday, Every Time I Die, Further Seems Forever, Poison The Well, From Autumn To Ashes, The Early November, In Memory, Riding Bikes, Cky, Never Say Never, Atreyu, Hidden In Plain View, and many others.
