SubStentz is music about life. Moments, feelings and reflections on the human condition. We all suffer from it and should embrace it. It's what makes us real. SubStentz is real life as it happened to us. Instrumentally, through guitar melodies that speak their own emotional impressions; vocally through lyrics of the heart, pained or elated; we bring it together to tell a story that we hope you can feel.

Band Members:
Guitarist, Greg Stentz is a progressive instrumentalist who after spending years in the metal and prog rock scene, decided to transform his playing into a musical style that speaks from his soul, where the music tells the story and can stand alone. He has recently completed an instrumental EP called Elements, combining acoustic and classical guitars, creating a twenty minute escape from the normal. Vocalist, Melissa Davis has been a writer for 10 years and decided she wanted her poetry put to music. These lyrics from the heart are performed from the heart. Melissa sings what she has experienced and you can feel it in her haunting vocals. Her eclectic path of life is laced throughout the songs in energy and homage to the universe. “You get back what you put out- so make it count.” Combine this with the added drum stylist Mike Lawrence, "Heartscarved & Sullivan", and you have a unique listening opportunity.
