Description:
Guido's Hand is a modern progressive rock ensemble that strives to revive the concept that a popular format of music can also be artistic.
Band Members:
Guidos' Hand was first formed by brothers Joe and Gabe Monticello around 1995. The band was in large part a diversion from the classical training they were recieving at Valdosta State University. Upon graduation, Gabe left the band to persue a Masters degree in Music at The University of Florida. Joe joined the Shazam in which he formed a partnership with drummer Kevin Williams. The band met local success but would soon disband due to musical conflicts. Gabe soon graduated from the University of Florida, composed a rock opera, Scissorman, with Mark Taormina, and was ready for something new. When Joe asked him to rejoin the fold, he immediately agreed and Guido’s Hand was born again.
