Get On UP is Akron's new Funk Authority playing all 70's and 80's funk covers including, but not limited to: Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Earth Wind & Fire, James Brown, Kool & the Gang, Average White Band, Tower of Power, Patrice Rushen, Prince, Luther Vandross, Zapp and Roger, etc... with new original music to come very, very soon.
Tie your shoes up tight and put something slick on. You deserve it. These nights are full of dancing, laughing, and a diverse crowd to fulfill your every need.

Band Members:
We all hail from different musical backgrounds. Some of the members are enrolled at Akron for Jazz studies, others are seasoned Cleveland/Akron area musicians. We've tightened up our act and have one mission: To make you groove harder than you ever have before.
