Description:
Hourglass is a progressive rock band that has been playing in Utah Valley for about 10 years. The band has won several local "Battle of the Bands" concerts as well as bringing hundreds of people per show. They currently have 3 albums released that have each sold well over a 1000 C.D.s. throughout dozens of countries. The band's latest CD, Oblivious to the Obvious" has been rated by perfectprog.com as one of the top 10 best progressive rock albums of 2009. Hourglass is known for their contrast between styles and versatility of their music. John Dunston, the band's drummer, has been rated one of the best progressive rock drummers of all time.
