Description:
When asked to define his style, words are often fleeting for Eric Squires. His influences are as varied as Paul Simon and Wes Montgomery. Based on a penchant for writing love songs, one friend defined it as Poetic Love Rock. Since moving to Colorado Eric has become re-acquainted with his well loved Gibson acoustic, Imogene. Drawing on his 90’s alt rock influences and Midwestern roots and his “What if we did this?” attitude he took up mandolin, harmonica, ukulele, and keys in addition to guitar. Eric spends much of his free time tinkering in his studio. Often his songs are still breathing their first breaths when the recording process begins. His songs have won him awards for originality as well as significant local radio play in his native Indiana.

Eric Squires plays all instruments which include but are not limited guitar, mandolin, ukulele, keys, harmonica, and vocals.
