Description:
It started as experimentation:four big town kids and four small town kids met in a basement in the small town for the first time to just fool around and play some music. They found that the sound they produced was amazing and decided to share it. Born that day was the band All Rights Reserved. All are juniors and they meet regularly to play their instruments together. Their first performance was at a Recital Hour at school, where they played their first song live as a band, "Chameleon", by Herbie Hancock. After that, All Rights Reserved became known around the campus as the Funk Band. They then played at the Pep Rally. When they heard about the CATS Battle of the Bands, they realized that it was their chance to hit the big time. They pulled an all-nighter at JB's house recording their first CD. That 4-track CD was widely distributed around school. They were elated to hear that they made it into the CATS Battle, and were equally happy to be playing in the Finals. The band has settled down this summer to record a few songs and play some sweet gigs. In their free time the band goes bowling, to the beach, and they all play golf; however playing that "sweet soul music is what they like to do best.
