dec 24. jesters pub. It was a great show and i bought one of the albums so i could continue to listen to them. The hard hitting bass lines mixed with great guitar work makes them a very hard hitting metal band. Excelent song writing ablility and great vocal work. But still the same run of the mill metal band. There was nothing to distinguish them from the other bands except on two points.
1) they interacted with the audiance and with the other band members during different sets. the other band members stuck to themselves and didnt really talk to other people. i acually got autographs from most of the band members on the cd.
2) the feel of there music wasnt all that run of the mill. its more like they actually took time to work on the tracks, then work on the lyrics. the lyrics where very thought out. not just the same old kill your mother kill your father die die die that you tend to hear from most metal bands. i was very impressed with there music and there manner on stage. this band has alot of potential and should be playing bigger venues in no time. with the drop of there first cd "The power of four" they should begine to get the exposure that they deserve. |
