These guys kick ass...Guitar player is insaine. Website allows you to hear their whole CD which is cool. Every song is worth listening to on thier CD. |

Description:
GAIAH (guy-uh), a melodic, hard rock band from Springfield, MA, has accomplished an impressive amount since forming in February of 2003. Gaiah’s sound, “clean ambient metal”, as characterized by the Valley Advocate, is achieved only through the sum of its four parts: Tony Danos (bass), Ryan Morgan (drums), Shawn Santanello (lead vocals), and Jon Zanetti (guitar). With strong hooks, dynamic interludes, and three-part harmonies, tracks from their recently released, full-length album entitled “Through this Nightmare”, have already been receiving airplay on WLZX, WCCC, WAAF, WBCN, and WQBK. In addition, Gaiah’s relentless touring of New England and strong live performances have earned them a Valley Advocate’s Grand Slam Band Award, which celebrates their musicianship and growing fan base. What differentiates GAIAH is the band's ability to transcend the everyday norms characteristic of the music industry while still achieving a mainstream sound. Their lyrics have been described as “so refreshing in that they are light years away from the stock-in-trade clichés used by far too many.” With their intricate melodies, rhythms, and driving sound, Gaiah will thrive on pushing modern day rock music to the next level and beyond.
