Description:
Gail & The Tricksters are a rockin', swingin' jump blues and rockabilly combo. Lead singer/songwriter Gail Lloyd has 2 albums released on Wild Oats Records, and has received airplay and toured both here in the U.S. and in half a dozen overseas countries. They are a fun, high energy act that never fails to get folks on their feet. "I'm definitely strongly influenced by swing and rock'n'roll music from the 40's, 50's and 60's, – all that has shaped my own music. Taking those elements – rockabilly , blues... a touch of punk, and a little swing ... I think I’m a pretty intense live performer, I just fuse it all together and then set it on fire ! Never know what’s gonna happen !!”. There's a new CD in the works due for release later in 2004.
