Description:
TETRA is equally at home performing on Concert stages, Private events, Rowdy Irish bars or trendy Hampton's Restaurants. As a Duo, Trio, or Four piece band. The music is a cover of Classic Rock and Acoustic songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s genres. Artists covered are Beatles, Dire Straits, Rolling Stones, James Taylor, John Denver, CCR, Greg Khin, Grand Funk Railroad, Pure Prairie League, Eagles, America, U2 Gordon Lightfoot, CSNY, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Crowded House, Golden Earring, Jethro Tull, Wilson Pickett and many more artists and a variety of Irish Ballads.
Band Members:
Dan Hurney, Guitar/Vocals is the founder of the Dan Bishop Band has been a successful solo and band performer based on Long Island Since 1973. His vocal style been compared to such artists as James Taylor, Mark Knoffler & Gordon Lightfoot, while adding his own proud Irish heritage to each performance.
Brain O'Conner, Bass guitar and vocals. Brain is a retired music teacher and experienced performer who has been playing in numerous bands in the TrI-state area for many years.
Tom Daly, Drums. Tom is a retire Army veteran and established drummer. He performed in Korea during his tour of duty and in many different bands around the Tri-State area. He can play any style of music and has a great steady beat.
Al Metukonis, Keyboards and Vocals, Al is a very accomplished keyboardist as well as teacher. He has performed in many different locations and played many different styles of music.
