Southern Plains Band

Our set list consists of original music and cover songs found on the Billboard top fifty from the last few decades to today. Music genre's include Americana, folk, country, classic rock, ballads and traditional gospel.

Entertaining everyone in the room and having fun is what we love to do. We enjoy playing just about anywhere. Our playing style and music are perfect for venues like pubs, community clubs, corporate receptions, dinner & cocktail party's, coffee houses, hotel lounges, restaurants, county fairs & music festivals.

Band Members:
David Pelkey - Keyboard / Guitar / Vocals

Singer / songwriter hailing from Canada, now a naturalized Oklahoman, David began studying classical piano at the age of four. Over the years he has added guitar and bass to his musical repertoire.

"Playing music has always been a big part of my life. Experimenting with new sounds and adding more sophistication to the melody is a driving force in my music."

Ric Favors - Guitar / Vocals

Singer / songwriter from New Orleans, Ric began playing guitar while serving in the US Army.

"For me what began as a hobby, quickly turned into a deep passion. When I play, there is the performance of course and I want to do a great job. But much more than that, my emotions and guitar combine to form a single entity. What emerges as music, whether written by me or someone else, has life and feeling."

Linda Panners - Percussion / Vocals

A native of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Linda grew up around country music and gospel. She adds a mellow voicing style to the variety of songs she sings.

"I have always enjoyed singing. God's hand has also been in my life. I feel when the audience is nodding their head, singing along or tapping their feet to a song, I am giving back some of what has been given to me."
