Description:
THCB plays all original homegrown Americana rock and roll. Styles and genres range form reggae to alt country and jazz to rock, sometimes in the same song. Lineup includes keyboards, guitar, bass, drums, and percussion. Founded three years ago when another local band broke up and some of their members found themselves free and interested in joined me (Glenn Woody Henkel) to play original music, from there we found an incredible new drummer who had recently relocated to the Norfolk, NE area, and that rounded it out even more. Last year ,due to a personal injury, we added a lead guitar player to the lineup and I went onto keys full time. With the way that additional instrumentation has added to our band's sound, this lineup is here to stay for the long haul now. We play high energy, honest songs about real true life experiences. Some are uplifting and fun, others make you think a bit about where you are in the world. All of our music is life affirming, love spreading, and vibration rising. We have a site on Reverbnation with a lot of our music to listen to, we have a CD completed last year, and we are in the middle of recording our second CD right now.
Band Members:
My name is Glenn Woody Henkel. I come from Norfolk, NE and have spent most of my life out West in CO playing in bands there and out on the East Coast in New Jersey and North Carolina. I have been writing music since my early college days. Since returning to my home town of Norfolk, NE I have assembled this lineup of incredibly accomplished musicians to join me to present this music more fully. Included in the lineup are the following: Myself, Glenn Woody Henkel, from Norfolk, NE on keyboards and guitar, I write the bulk of all of our music and try to keep the whole thing moving forward. Craig Cullen, from Norfolk, NE on percussion, has transitioned from drums to percussion with easy, and brings a lot of flare to the rhythm section. Dave Chamberlain, from the Cincinatti OH area, on drums, is just a metronome monster on the drum set, with incredible feel for dynamics. Jason Ferguson, from Omaha, NE on lead guitar brings incredible chops to the table, fluid from heavier rock through country and into jazz. Randy Rutten, from Madison, NE fills out the lineup on bass, playing everything from fretted to fretless and upright acoustic, a rock solid low end.
