Description:
Woodfish is a U.S. based rock band formed by bassist Steve Kalorin and drummer Dominic Kalorin. After taking an 8 year hiatus from playing bass Steve Kalorin simply had a calling while sitting in a diner eating breakfast on vacation in San Diego, California. This calling was simple. Go home, talk to your brother, start a band, call it Woodfish and bring people together in the celebration of life through rock music. In early 2006 Woodfish recorded their first album entitled "Bamm Diddley". Shortly after recording the album New York City's Q104.3 Classic Rock Radio Station DJ, Ken Dashow described Woodfish as one of the New York areas best rock bands. This struck certain members of the band as if tuning fork had gone off in their souls. It fueled thier passion to make and keep great rock music alive. Woodfish then stepped up their game and began intoxicating, exhilarating and entertaining musical audiences while sharing the stage with acts such as Foghat, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Kerry Kearney, The Spin Doctors’ Chris Barron, Particle, Keller Williams and Oteil & the Peacemakers.
